Prof. Michael L. Benjamin-Robinson, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of social services and public health experience. He has provided services in a variety of capacities, including but not limited to, substance abuse counseling, youth counseling, HIV/AIDS-related counseling, behavioral interventions, LGBT related counseling, and counseling with incarcerated individuals. Mr. Benjamin-Robinson has several years of experience assisting couples navigate through complex relationship issues and he possess the necessary facilitation skills to a mediate fair and balanced dialogue that is constructive as well as therapeutic.
Mr. Benjamin-Robinson treatment specialty areas not only include relationship counseling but also areas of trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress and anger management. He employs an eclectic counseling approach utilizing evidence-based therapies and theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness and Social Support. In his counseling practice he aspires to offer peace and wellness services in a welcoming, comfortable and safe environment.

Mr. Benjamin-Robinson is currently studying for a doctorate in Social Work degree at Tulane University. He also teaches undergraduate and graduate level social work course at both Tulane University and Southern University at New Orleans.
Dr. Kimberly J. Chandler, PLCP, PhD, is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor for with over 20 combined years of experience as a scholar/professor of Communication Studies, communication consultant, professional/life coach, and therapist. Her PhD in Communication Studies and MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling collectively inform her work offering support to individuals, couples, and families seeking to navigate trauma and life transitions.
Dr. Chandler incorporates holistic modalities in therapy, utilizing Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Meditation, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. She focuses on helping individuals with Anxiety, Depression, Grief & Loss, Relationship Issues, Stress Management, and Self-Esteem Issues.
Dr. Chandler’s knowledge in multiple therapy modalities allows her to customize services for her clients. Her goal is always to meet the needs of each client using culturally competent and informed interventions. She offers a specialized focus on men and couples, combining therapeutic interventions with psychoeducation.
